Indian Pastry Chef in Muscat
We are a luxury hotel in Muscat seeking an experienced and skilled Indian Pastry Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries, desserts, and baked goods using traditional Indian recipes and techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of Indian-inspired pastries, desserts, and baked goods for our restaurant and banquet events
- Create new and innovative menu items while also maintaining traditional favorites
- Ensure all pastries are made with high-quality ingredients and presented beautifully
- Train and supervise pastry assistants to maintain consistency in quality and presentation
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian pastry recipes and techniques
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders at once
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Good communication skills, fluency in English is preferred
- Must currently reside in Muscat or willing to relocate
Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
