Database Administrator

We are hiring a proficient Database Administrator to join our team in Oslo. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's databases, ensuring their security, availability, and performance. The ideal candidate should have experience in database management systems (DBMS) and be familiar with SQL language.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and ensure data integrity
- Develop and implement database policies and procedures
- Troubleshoot database issues and perform necessary maintenance
- Collaborate with developers to design efficient database structures
- Install and upgrade database software as needed
- Create backups and disaster recovery plans for databases
- Train employees on proper use of databases

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Knowledge of SQL language and relational database management systems (RDBMS)
- Familiarity with database security, backup, and recovery methods
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Salary: $1000 per month

Working Hours: Full-time
