Executive Chef for Indian Restaurant in Doha
We are currently hiring an experienced Executive Chef to lead our team at a popular Indian restaurant in Doha. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and authentic Indian dishes, as well as excellent leadership skills to manage and train our kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new menus and dishes, while also maintaining the quality and consistency of existing menu items
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food is consistently produced
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Adhere to all sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen
- Work closely with the management team to meet financial goals and maintain budget control
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations and traditional cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent communication skills to effectively work with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen setting
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an executive chef or similar role
- Familiarity with Indian culinary traditions, ingredients, and techniques
- Fluent English language skills
Salary: $1000 per month
