Smelter Operator

Operate and maintain equipment used in the smelting process of metals. Monitor and adjust controls to ensure proper temperature, pressure, and flow rates. Conduct quality control checks on raw materials and finished products. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks. Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear as necessary. Record data and maintain production logs. Communicate with team members to ensure efficient workflow. This physically demanding job requires standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy objects, and working in high temperatures. Prior experience in smelting operations is preferred but training can be provided for motivated candidates with a background in industrial work.
