Sous Chef
We are searching for a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Gujrat. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to create and implement menu items, maintain kitchen operations, and ensure high-quality food is consistently served to our customers. Your responsibilities will also include training and supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and upholding food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a culinary degree or equivalent experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for creating delicious dishes. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Head Chef to develop new menu items
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and delegate tasks to kitchen staff
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
- Order supplies as needed while adhering to budget guidelines
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist in inventory management to prevent shortages or wastage
- Uphold high standards of food safety and sanitation
Requirements:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively
- Excellent knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Excellent time-management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
