Experienced Mason


Our construction company in Las Vegas is seeking a skilled and experienced Mason to join our team. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of brick, stone, and other materials. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in masonry work and be able to work efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to determine construction requirements
- Prepare surfaces for masonry work by cleaning and leveling
- Mix mortar and spread it evenly between bricks or stones
- Lay bricks or stones in a pattern according to specifications
- Cut or trim bricks or stones to fit into specific spaces
- Use hand tools such as trowels, hammers, levels, and chisels to shape or smooth materials
- Repair and replace damaged masonry units
- Coordinate with other construction workers to ensure project timelines are met
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate protective gear

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of different types of brick, stone, and mortar materials
- Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans accurately
- Proficient in using hand tools for shaping and smoothing materials
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Las Vegas, USA (Preference for Kenyan nationals but open to all nationalities)
