Industrial alpinism vacancy in Alta Norway

Industrial Alpinist

We are seeking a highly skilled and physically fit Industrial Alpinist to join our team in Alta, Norway. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at heights using specialized equipment and techniques. This is a contract position with a starting salary of $1500 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting visual inspections and maintenance work on industrial structures such as bridges, towers, and buildings
- Installing safety systems and equipment at height
- Cleaning and painting structures using rope access techniques
- Rigging heavy loads and materials for lifting
- Assisting with construction projects at height
- Following strict safety protocols and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to work at heights for extended periods of time
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Ability to use specialized equipment such as harnesses, ropes, and ascenders
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience in industrial alpinism is preferred but not required
