Turner for Metal Fabrication Company in Wiltz, Kenya


We are a leading metal fabrication company located in the bustling city of Wiltz, Kenya. We are currently seeking an experienced Turner to join our team and contribute to our growing success. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to produce precision metal parts. This role requires a skilled individual with experience in metalworking and the ability to work with a variety of materials.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, drills, etc.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications
- Measure and mark dimensions on workpieces using precision measuring instruments
- Perform quality checks on finished products for accuracy and conformance to specifications
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs
- Maintain a safe working environment by following company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Turner in a metal fabrication environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficient in the use of various machine tools including lathes, milling machines, grinders, drills, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials if necessary

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.
