Moderator for Live Events
We are seeking an experienced Moderator to join our team in Washington, as we expand our live events department. As a moderator, you will be responsible for facilitating discussions and keeping the conversation on track during our live events. Your main goal will be to engage and interact with the audience, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for all participants.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and moderate live events, including panel discussions, interviews, webinars, etc.
- Engage with the audience through Q&A sessions and polls
- Keep the conversation on track and prevent any disruptions or inappropriate behavior
- Collaborate with event organizers to ensure a seamless experience for all participants
- Manage technical aspects of the event, such as audiovisual equipment and online platforms
- Conduct post-event analysis to gather feedback and improve future events
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a moderator or similar role in live events
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with diverse audiences
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks at once
- Proficiency in using audiovisual equipment and online platforms for virtual events
- Familiarity with event planning processes and techniques
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations professionally
- Own visa or work permit in Washington preferred
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Washington D.C., USA (own visa jobs available)
