Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team in Utena. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery in accordance with production standards and quality requirements. This is a contract position with a salary of 1100$, with accommodation and visa sponsorship provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare machines for production by accurately reading and interpreting blueprints and job orders
- Set up machines by adjusting controls, tooling, and materials as needed
- Operate machinery to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, shaping, or grinding materials
- Monitor machine operations to ensure production runs smoothly and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of technical drawings and schematics
- Ability to operate various machinery including but not limited to lathes, mills, grinders, drills, etc.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials when needed
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to machine operation
