Data Analytics Specialist
Location: Alta, Norway


We are hiring a skilled Data Analytics Specialist to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing large and complex datasets to identify patterns and trends, and provide valuable insights to drive business decisions. Your role will involve working with various stakeholders to understand their data needs and developing data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets using statistical methods and data mining techniques
- Identify patterns and trends in data to provide insights and recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop solutions
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders
- Manage data collection, cleansing, and integration processes
- Identify opportunities for process improvements through data analysis
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data analytics

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics or related field
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods and data mining techniques
- Proficient in SQL, Python or R programming languages
- Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques
- Experience working with cloud-based databases such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as SAP Business Objects or MicroStrategy

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of $1000 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Alta, Norway. Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate.
