Sous Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in São Paulo. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. You will be responsible for supervising and training kitchen staff, creating new menu items, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and coordinating all culinary activities
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Create new menu items and specials
- Ensure that all food is consistently prepared and served according to company standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all sanitation, safety, and hygiene standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, ingredients, and presentation
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Culinary degree or equivalent work experience
- Fluent in Portuguese (preferred)
