Heritage Preservation Architect

The Heritage Preservation Architect will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical structures and sites in the city of Gujrat. This part-time position requires a highly experienced individual with a passion for preserving cultural heritage. The ideal candidate will have a background in architecture, historic preservation, or a related field and at least 5 years of experience working on preservation projects.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting site surveys and assessments to identify areas in need of preservation
- Developing plans for restoration and conservation of historical structures
- Collaborating with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders to ensure preservation efforts align with their goals
- Managing project budgets, timelines, and resources
- Overseeing construction and restoration work to ensure it meets preservation standards
- Conducting research on historical structures and utilizing best practices for preservation
- Keeping up-to-date with laws, regulations, and standards related to historic preservation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Historic Preservation or related field (Master's preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience working on preservation projects
- Knowledge of local history and architectural styles in Gujrat
- Strong understanding of building materials, techniques, and conservation methods
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as needed
