Head Baker


As a Head Baker, you will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our bakery in Kaunas. Your main responsibility will be to create delicious and high-quality baked goods while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. You must have experience working as a baker and possess excellent leadership skills to effectively manage our team of bakers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of bakers in daily tasks, including preparing doughs, baking, decorating, and packaging baked goods.
- Ensure all products are made with high-quality ingredients and meet our standards for taste, appearance, and consistency.
- Develop new recipes and modify existing ones to continuously improve our menu offerings.
- Maintain inventory levels for ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed.
- Train new bakers on our recipes, techniques, and food safety procedures.
- Monitor equipment to ensure it is in good working condition; schedule repairs or replacements as needed.
- Follow food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times.

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience working as a professional baker.
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, measurements, and equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Food safety certification preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This position is located in Kaunas but we welcome applicants from all cities across Lithuania. Preference will be given to Malayalees or individuals with experience working with Malayalee cuisine.
