Excavator Operator in Nairobi, Kenya

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, grade, and move earth for various construction projects. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and experience in operating excavators.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator according to project specifications and safety guidelines
- Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Use hand signals and/or radio communication to coordinate with ground crew
- Dig trenches, level terrain, and move materials as directed by the project manager
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and accurately
- Monitor fuel levels and refill as needed
- Keep detailed records of daily activities and complete required paperwork
- Follow all company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating an excavator
- Valid biometric passport (Indian nationality preferred)
- Ability to read construction plans and understand project specifications
- Knowledge of safety protocols for heavy equipment operation
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
