Database Administrator



We are currently hiring a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Remish. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases to ensure efficient and secure data storage and retrieval.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain databases for various applications
- Monitor database performance and make necessary optimizations
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place
- Collaborate with developers to optimize database usage within applications
- Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions
- Train users on proper database usage and provide technical support when needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator
- Strong understanding of database design principles
- Proficient in SQL programming language
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases
- Knowledge of data backup, recovery, and security protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with sensitive or confidential data
- Experience with cloud-based databases such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases
- Certification in Database Administration
