Construction Project Manager
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of various building projects in the city of Bergen. They will work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction industry and a strong understanding of building codes and regulations. This position requires excellent leadership skills, as well as strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans and schedules
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Manage project budget and resources
- Communicate project updates to all stakeholders
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during construction process
- Ensure quality control throughout all stages of construction
- Oversee safety protocols on job sites
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in construction management or related role
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams simultaneously
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with project management software
- Valid driver's license
Salary: $1100/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Bergen (visa sponsorship available)
