Office Assistant
As an Office Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the office staff and ensure the smooth operation of daily tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining office supplies, managing calendars, and organizing meetings. Your role will also involve answering phone calls and emails, as well as sorting and distributing mail. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively. Previous experience in an office setting is preferred. This position is full-time and based in Faro, with a salary of 1800$.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining office supplies and ordering new ones when needed
- Manage calendars and schedule appointments
- Organize meetings, including booking conference rooms and preparing necessary materials
- Answer phone calls and emails in a professional manner
- Sort and distribute mail to appropriate individuals
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, such as recording expenses and processing invoices
- Maintain a clean and organized office space
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus
- Proven experience as an Office Assistant or similar administrative role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Location: This position is based in Faro.
Salary: 1800$
