Database Administrator

A reputable company in Vilnius is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases to ensure smooth and efficient data management. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of database architecture, data backup and recovery, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain databases for our company's systems
- Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize speed and efficiency
- Develop data backup and recovery plans to prevent data loss
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop database solutions that meet business requirements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Database Administrator
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle)
- Experience with database design, implementation, maintenance, and performance tuning
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred:
- Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS)
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional)

This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1300$. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract. Pakistani nationals are preferred for this role.
