Information Security Analyst - Contract Position (Akron, Canada)


We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team in Akron, Canada on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security principles and practices, as well as experience in conducting risk assessments, implementing security measures, and monitoring for potential threats.

As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and identifying potential security risks to our systems and networks, developing and implementing security policies and procedures, and staying up-to-date on emerging threats and vulnerabilities. You will also work closely with other teams to ensure that our systems are secure and compliant with industry standards.

The successful candidate will have a degree in computer science or a related field, as well as relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM. Experience with network security tools, vulnerability assessment tools, and security information event management (SIEM) systems is also required.
