Information Security Analyst


We are hiring an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Akron. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and upgrading the organization's security systems to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with the IT team to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop solutions to address them.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or unauthorized access
- Investigate security breaches and initiate corrective actions
- Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies
- Train employees on security protocols and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, etc.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, techniques, and technologies (e.g. firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems)
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST Framework, etc.
- Experience conducting risk assessments and developing security policies/procedures
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Salary: $1700 per month
Location: Akron (No English proficiency required)
