Job Title: Indian Chef (English Speaking)



We are searching for an experienced and creative Indian Chef to join our team and bring their unique culinary skills to our restaurant in Dickirch. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious, authentic Indian dishes while adhering to food safety standards. You will also be responsible for managing inventory, supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, excellent communication skills in English, and the ability to work well under pressure. Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Indian Chef
- Proficient in English (both spoken and written)
- Knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to create new and innovative dishes while also maintaining traditional recipes
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team
- Food safety certification is preferred
- Must be able to legally work in Dickirch

Responsibilities:
- Create menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Prepare ingredients, cook dishes, and present them in an appealing manner
- Manage inventory levels to ensure all necessary ingredients are available for daily service
- Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and presentation of dishes
- Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop new recipes or improve existing ones
- Handle customer inquiries or special requests related to food allergies or dietary restrictions
