Indian Executive Chef
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Sharjah. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality Indian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and creating innovative dishes, along with excellent leadership skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus featuring authentic Indian dishes
- Train, supervise and manage kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production
- Control food costs by maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain consistency
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with management to create new menus or special dishes for events or promotions
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in an Indian restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional specialties
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluency in Hindi is a plus)
- Must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time
Salary:
A competitive salary of 1400$ will be offered based on experience and qualifications.
