We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Typesetter to join our publishing team in Alta, Norway. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for print or digital publication. Your role will involve working closely with editors, designers, and printers to ensure that all materials are accurate, visually appealing, and meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Format and arrange text and images according to specified design standards
- Use typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and printers to ensure accuracy and quality of materials
- Proofread materials for spelling, grammar, and layout errors
- Ensure consistency in formatting across all publications
- Meet project deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficient in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors in text and layout
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members effectively

Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Graphic Design or a related field
- Knowledge of printing processes and requirements for different types of publications
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for digital publications

Salary: $1500 per month

This is a full-time position with no accommodation provided. However, we offer free visa sponsorship and airfare for international candidates.
