A leading tech company in Atlanta is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our company's databases. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database structures, tables, and data dictionaries
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing backup and recovery plans
- Collaborate with software developers to optimize database queries and improve application performance
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and upgrades
- Develop and maintain documentation for databases, including data standards, procedures, and definitions
- Train end-users on proper database usage and provide technical support as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security best practices
- Strong understanding of SQL language and ability to write efficient queries
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Experience in database design and optimization techniques
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and train end-users

Preferred:
- Certification in Database Administration (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional)
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with large databases
- Knowledge of cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL)
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Python
