We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cashier to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions and providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
- Calculate and return change to customers in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly in the system
- Monitor inventory levels and restock products as needed
- Handle product returns and exchanges according to company policies
- Resolve customer complaints or escalate to the supervisor if necessary
- Adhere to all cash handling procedures and security measures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in accounting or finance is a plus
- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
- Strong math skills with the ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in recording transactions
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with electronic POS systems
