Executive Chef (Indian Cuisine)


We are a highly reputable restaurant located in the beautiful city of St-Petersburg and we are seeking an experienced Executive Chef who specializes in Indian cuisine. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our restaurant's kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive the highest quality dishes that reflect the rich and diverse flavors of Indian cuisine.

Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a menu that showcases authentic Indian dishes while also incorporating new and innovative ideas
- Oversee all kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Monitor food costs and inventory levels to ensure profitability without compromising on quality
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide excellent customer service

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Executive Chef, preferably in an Indian restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and traditional dishes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Creative mindset with a passion for culinary innovation

Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Proven track record of creating successful menus and managing food costs effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Russian is a plus)
- Must be able to obtain necessary work permits/visas for employment in St-Petersburg
