Android Developer

We are in search of a skilled Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Karachi. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement new features while ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.

Responsibilities include:

- Designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features
- Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
- Identifying and fixing bugs in a timely manner
- Conducting thorough testing and troubleshooting of applications
- Participating in code reviews to maintain coding standards and improve overall code quality
- Staying up-to-date with new trends, tools, and technologies in mobile development

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Android Developer or similar role
- Proficient in Java programming language and Android SDK
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of debugging tools like ADB or DDMS
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines

Preferred qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Experience with Kotlin programming language
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
