Restaurant Manager for a Busy Waterfront Restaurant in Bergen


We are hiring a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy waterfront restaurant in Bergen. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant, including staffing, budgeting, inventory management, customer service, and overall performance.

Responsibilities:
• Create and implement effective strategies to increase revenue and profit margins
• Hire and train staff members to provide exceptional customer service
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Oversee all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and quality control
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
• Work closely with the kitchen team to create new menu items or make changes to existing ones
• Plan and coordinate events or special promotions to attract more customers

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the restaurant industry
• Ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be fluent in English (Norwegian language skills preferred)
• Valid work permit/visa for Norway

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1400$ per month.
