Temporary Restaurant Manager

We are searching for a skilled and experienced Temporary Restaurant Manager to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Temporary Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Your main duties will include managing staff, handling customer complaints, creating schedules, monitoring inventory and ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in restaurant management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. This is a temporary position with the potential for permanent employment based on performance. Accommodation may be provided for the right candidate. A biometric passport is preferred but not required.

Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Bergen, Norway

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily operations of the restaurant
- Train and supervise staff members
- Create schedules and assign tasks to employees
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Handle customer complaints and ensure high-quality service is provided at all times
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss any issues or improvements needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations between front of house and back of house
- Develop strategies to increase sales and improve overall customer satisfaction

Requirements:
- Previous experience in restaurant management is required
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle customer complaints calmly and professionally
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Biometric passport preferred but not required
