Android Developer


We are hiring an experienced and creative Android Developer to join our growing team in Atlanta. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mobile applications for the Android platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, as well as maintain and improve existing codebase.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing mobile applications for the Android platform
- Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Experience working with remote data via RESTful APIs
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Strong debugging skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with Git version control system
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles for mobile applications

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Atlanta (remote work options available)

Employment Type: Contract (with possibility of extension)
