We are currently seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Akron. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, organizing, and securing our company's database systems. This includes creating and managing databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, troubleshooting issues, and implementing security measures to protect sensitive information.

Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain databases for various departments within the company
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure data integrity by regularly backing up and restoring data
- Implement security measures to protect confidential information
- Collaborate with IT team to develop database solutions that meet the needs of the company
- Train employees on how to properly access and use the database system
- Document database procedures and maintain system documentation for reference purposes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Knowledge of database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: $1800/month

This position is open to Kenyan citizens living in Akron or who are willing to relocate. English proficiency is preferred but not required. This is a full-time position without accommodation provided. Biometric passport may be required for foreign applicants.
