Instrument Technician
We are currently seeking an Instrument Technician to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and equipment used in manufacturing, production, and laboratory settings.
Responsibilities:
- Install new instruments and equipment according to specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing instruments
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with malfunctioning instruments
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy of readings
- Keep detailed records of all work performed on instruments
- Order replacement parts as needed
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve instrument performance
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working with instruments
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working as an Instrument Technician preferred
- Knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and instrumentation principles
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Salary: 1700$ per month
