Instrument Technician
A well-established company located in Malindi is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrument maintenance and repair, with excellent technical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of instruments according to company standards
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty instruments, ensuring minimal downtime
- Install new instruments and conduct testing to ensure proper functionality
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Work closely with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve complex issues
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working with instruments
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in instrumentation preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician or related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and instrumentation technology
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals for troubleshooting purposes
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1800 per month.
Working hours:
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week.
