Instrument Technician - Akron, USA



We are in need of a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Akron, USA. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and equipment used in manufacturing plants and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves.
- Troubleshoot instrument malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Calibrate instruments according to established procedures and standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning.
- Keep accurate records of instrument maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to diagnose and resolve complex instrument issues.
- Stay updated with new technologies and advancements in the field of instrumentation.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Instrument Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Proficient in reading technical diagrams and schematics.
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and circuits.
- Knowledge of different types of instruments used in industrial settings.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Associate's degree or certification in Instrumentation Technology or a related field.
- Previous experience working with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
- Familiarity with industry standards for instrumentation such as ISA (International Society of Automation) codes.

Salary: $1000 per month
