Junior Android Developer

We are searching for a driven and innovative Junior Android Developer to join our development team in Funchal. As a Junior Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing applications for the Android platform. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mobile development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency in Java and the Android SDK
- Experience with Android Studio and third-party libraries
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Fluent in English (Portuguese fluency is a plus)
