Industrial Alpinist - Rope Access Technician


We are in search of an Industrial Alpinist to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will use specialized equipment and techniques to perform work at height in challenging environments. This includes working on industrial structures such as oil rigs, bridges, and wind turbines. You do not need prior experience, as we will provide training and certification for rope access techniques. However, a strong sense of safety and physical fitness is required for this physically demanding job.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rope access techniques to access elevated work areas
- Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on industrial structures
- Use specialized tools and equipment while suspended at height
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Communicate with team members via radio or hand signals while working at height
- Keep accurate records of work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors

Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to perform strenuous tasks at height for extended periods of time
- No prior experience necessary, but willingness to learn rope access techniques is essential
- Strong sense of safety with the ability to follow strict safety protocols
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with team members
- Willingness to travel for job assignments within Norway or internationally if needed
