Debt Collection Agent


As a Debt Collection Agent, you will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding debts from our customers. You will work closely with our finance and customer service teams to ensure timely and effective collection of payments. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Previous experience in debt collection is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to follow up on outstanding payments
- Negotiate payment plans or settlements with customers in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of all communication and payment activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing discrepancies or customer issues
- Monitor delinquent accounts and take necessary actions to collect payments
- Provide regular updates on the status of debt collection efforts to management
- Comply with all relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection practices
- Work towards achieving individual and team targets for debt recovery

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in finance or related field is a plus
- Proven experience as a debt collector or similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection practices
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with debt collection software is a plus
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)

Salary: $1000 per month

Location: Split, Croatia (open to candidates of any nationality)

Employment Type: Full-time, with accommodation provided if needed.

Visa Sponsorship: Not available for this position. Candidates must have their own valid visa/work permit for Croatia.
