Pastry Chef
A luxury hotel in Bungoma is seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries for our guests to enjoy. You will work closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to create menus, prepare ingredients, and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards. We are looking for someone who is passionate about pastry making and has a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Create a variety of desserts and pastries according to menu specifications
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards
- Work closely with the Head Chef to create new menu items and specials
- Maintain inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies
- Train new pastry staff members as needed
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of various pastry techniques and methods
- Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with good communication skills
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Salary:
$1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Bungoma, Kenya
Preference:
Indian nationals preferred, but open to all nationalities. English proficiency is not required, but basic communication skills would be beneficial.
