Typesetter for Print Publication in Lisbon, Portugal


We are in need of a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for laying out and formatting text and images for print publication. Your attention to detail and excellent organizational skills will ensure the accuracy and quality of our publications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize typesetting software to format text and images according to design specifications
- Edit and proofread content for accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure layout meets project requirements
- Maintain style guides and adhere to established branding guidelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve formatting issues as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role in a print publication setting
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, or similar programs
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, and design principles
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of printing processes and technical requirements for different types of publications is a plus

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month. Accommodation can be provided if needed.

Location:
This position is based in Lisbon, Portugal. We welcome candidates from all nationalities but knowledge of Portuguese language is preferred.
