Formwork Carpenter


A reputable construction company in Braga is seeking a skilled Formwork Carpenter to join our team. As a Formwork Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing temporary structures, such as scaffolds and concrete forms, which are used to support the building process. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Study blueprints and plans to determine the size, type, and materials needed for formwork
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications
- Assemble and install formwork using hand or power tools
- Pour and level concrete into forms
- Remove formwork after concrete has dried
- Repair or replace damaged formwork as needed
- Collaborate with other construction workers, such as carpenters and masons, to complete projects on schedule
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of various formwork systems and techniques
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in order to collaborate effectively with team members

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month for this full-time position.
