Network and Systems Administrator

We are hiring a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our IT team in Faro. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our company's computer systems, networks, and servers. Your primary duties will include installing and configuring software, ensuring network security, and resolving technical issues.

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 3 years of experience as a Network and Systems Administrator. You should also have strong knowledge of network protocols and topologies, as well as experience with server administration and virtualization. A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and servers
- Monitor system performance and ensure network security
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, software, or network connections
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and upgrades
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new systems or software
- Provide technical support to end-users as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network and Systems Administrator
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP) and topologies (LAN/WAN)
- Experience with server administration (Windows/Linux) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS/DHCP services, VPNs, firewalls, etc.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills
