Housekeeping Assistant
We are a reputable hotel located in the bustling city of Los Angeles, and we are seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms and common areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, hardworking, and has a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms according to established standards
- Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and tidy up furniture and fixtures
- Vacuum carpets and dust surfaces in guest rooms
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Stock housekeeping carts with necessary supplies
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to supervisor
- Assist with laundry duties as needed
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness in common areas such as hallways, stairwells, lobby, etc.
- Follow all safety procedures while handling cleaning chemicals
Requirements:
- Filipino nationality preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping or similar role is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
