Body Repair Master


A busy auto body shop in Eldoret is seeking a skilled and experienced Body Repair Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in auto body repair and possess excellent customer service skills. As our Body Repair Master, you will be responsible for repairing, replacing, and refinishing damaged vehicle bodies and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided for out-of-town candidates. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough inspections of damaged vehicles and identify necessary repairs
- Disassemble damaged vehicle parts and repair or replace as needed
- Use various tools and techniques to reshape, sand, and smooth vehicle bodies
- Apply primers, paints, and clear coats to achieve a flawless finish
- Communicate with customers to provide updates on repair progress and address any concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in auto body repair
- Certification or diploma in Automotive Collision Repair preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive body repair techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients of all backgrounds
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be physically fit for prolonged periods of standing, bending, reaching, lifting heavy objects, etc.
