Interpreter - Contract Position (Visa Sponsorship Available)


We are currently seeking a skilled Interpreter to join our team on a contract basis in Gujrat. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and professional interpretation services for clients in various settings. This is an urgent position with visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct interpretation services in person, over the phone, or via video conferencing
- Provide accurate and culturally sensitive interpretations for clients with limited English proficiency
- Translate written documents as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards at all times
- Collaborate with other interpreters and team members to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery
- Continuously improve knowledge of languages and specialized terminology through training and professional development opportunities

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an interpreter in a professional setting
- Fluency in English and at least one other language (preferably Urdu)
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to convey information accurately
- Familiarity with cultural differences and sensitivity when working with diverse populations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
- Experience in medical or legal interpretation is a plus

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.

Location:
This role is based in Gujrat, but due to the nature of the job, you may be required to travel within the city or potentially outside of it.

Contract Duration:
This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months, but it has the potential to be extended based on performance.
