Smelter Operator


We are a renowned metal production company in Split, seeking a skilled Smelter Operator to join our team. As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining smelting equipment to produce metal products according to industry standards and company guidelines.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor smelting equipment to melt, mix, and refine metal materials
- Maintain furnace and other equipment by performing regular inspections and maintenance tasks
- Monitor temperature, pressure, and flow rates to ensure proper operation of the smelting process
- Add materials such as fluxes, alloys, or chemicals to adjust the composition of molten metals
- Troubleshoot any issues with the smelting process and make necessary adjustments or repairs
- Record data on production activities including material usage, temperature readings, and equipment maintenance
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Smelter Operator in a similar industry
- Knowledge of furnace operations and maintenance procedures
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics related to smelting equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict guidelines for quality control
- Good physical stamina as the role may involve standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects
- Excellent communication skills in English (Malayalee or Egyptian nationality preferred)
- Must have valid visa sponsorship for employment in Split
