Software Tester

As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will work closely with the development team to identify and report any bugs or issues that arise during the testing process. Your role will also involve creating test plans and executing various testing techniques to ensure that our software meets all requirements and specifications. You will be based in Lahore and will receive a salary of 1400$ per month, along with a free visa and ticket.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute test plans for new software features
- Identify, record, and track bugs using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues
- Perform manual and automated testing on different aspects of the software
- Write and maintain test scripts for regression testing
- Stay updated on industry best practices for software testing
- Participate in design reviews to provide input on potential quality issues
- Communicate test results and provide recommendations for improvements

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of testing techniques such as black box, white box, regression, etc.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and communicate effectively with developers
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

- ISTQB certification or equivalent
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
