Chef de Cuisine
As a Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for creating and executing a diverse and dynamic menu that showcases the unique flavors of Faro. You will oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, inventory management, and staff training. Your creative vision and exceptional culinary skills will be key in maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design menu items that reflect the local cuisine while also incorporating international influences
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring quality and consistency
- Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize profits
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and address any customer concerns or special requests
- Monitor kitchen budget to control costs without compromising on quality or taste
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu items

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of Faro's culinary traditions as well as international cuisines
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for presentation and flavor profiles
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Food safety certification is preferred but not required

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month, with opportunities for growth within our expanding restaurant group.

Location:
This position is based in Faro, Portugal. However, we welcome candidates from all nationalities who are willing to relocate for this exciting opportunity.
