Mechanic Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic Technician to join our team in Malindi. As a Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various types of vehicles and equipment. This is a contract job with a salary of 1100$. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles and equipment such as cars, trucks, motorcycles, and generators
- Identify mechanical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner
- Use various tools and equipment to complete tasks efficiently
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards
- Keep accurate records of work done and parts used
- Communicate with customers regarding repairs needed and estimated costs
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on new technology and techniques

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in automotive technology preferred
- Proven experience as a mechanic technician working with different types of vehicles and equipment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as scanners, multimeters, etc.
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical terms to non-experts
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
