Merchandiser - Retail Operations Specialist in Oslo, Norway


We are hiring a Merchandiser - Retail Operations Specialist to join our dynamic retail team in Oslo, Norway. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper product placement and presentation in our stores, as well as analyzing sales data and implementing effective merchandising strategies. This is a full-time position with a salary of 900$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement visual merchandising plans in accordance with company guidelines
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper product placement and presentation
- Analyze sales data and make recommendations for merchandise assortment and display
- Collaborate with buyers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Train store staff on visual merchandising techniques and standards
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to relevant teams
- Stay updated on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities
- Participate in store openings, renovations, and special events as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Fashion Design or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in visual merchandising or retail operations
- Strong understanding of current fashion trends and customer preferences
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with data analysis tools (e.g. Excel)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team in a fast-paced environment
